February 25, 2010 -Continuing its longstanding support of organizations it believes in, Hair Club® and Hair Club Medical Group™, are joining forces with the American Cancer Society, as a proud co-sponsor at ACS’ February 27, 2010 Celestial Gala event at Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter, Florida.
Corporate sponsors, such as Hair Club, will have a table at the upscale, black tie event, and help with the fundraising efforts for this very worthy cause.
The fun-filled night has an “Evening with the Phantom” theme that will be mysterious and feature celebrity chefs and entertainment. Additionally, there will also be a silent auction, which Hair Club Medical Group™ has generously donated a $5,000 hair transplant gift certificate redeemable at their West Palm Beach hair transplant surgery location.
“Hair Club is proud to give back to the communities we are a part of,” said Michele Graves, Vice President of Human Resources for Hair Club. “We believe in being good corporate citizens, and supporting organizations we feel are deserving of our support, such as the American Cancer Society. We want to help in any way we can with cancer research.”
This will be the first year Hair Club and Hair Club Medical Group™ have partnered with the American Cancer Society, but not the first time they have helped. In the past, Hair Club hair restoration centers have donated stylist chairs to ACS. Hair Club has also been involved in outreach efforts, as well as Hair Club employees offering support on their own, including walking and marathon participation on behalf of ACS.
For Hair Club, this is an especially personal cause, as employees and their family members have been touched by the disease. Wilson Rodriguez, a Hair Club employee, and his wife Vicky will be in attendance at the gala. Vicky is a six-month cancer survivor.
